Reserved Volume Naming Conventions
The InveStore file system will generate the following names under the conditions described. These are reserved names for the InveStore file system.
!UnknownFileFormatxxxx The name created for all volumes mounted that contain a format that is not recognized by the InveStore file system.
!UninitializedVolumexxxx The name given to an un-initialized (unformatted) volume imported into the library.
!UnreadableVolumexxxx The name given to a volume when the media failed to successfully mount. This normally indicates a media level problem with the media itself.
!FailedFormatxxxx The name given to a volume when the media failed to successfully complete a format operation. This may indicate a problem with the storage drive or the media itself.
!ReuseableVolumexxxx The name given to a volume that was "recycled" by the administrator for re-formatting and reuse in the system.
!FreedVolumexxxx The name given to a volume that was "Erased" by the administrator for reformatting and reuse in the system.
Note: xxxx is a four-digit number starting with 0000 and is incremented by one for each volume of a particular type.
