DISC D-20 and D-40 (OEM Maxoptix)

Software eject enabled

In a Maxoptix jukebox with Sony SMO-F551 drives when ejecting media you may encounter an error being reported is an "invalid command" during multiple mount operations.

Per Maxoptix technical support, this is a result of a drive setup problem with the Sony drives inside of the Maxoptix jukebox. You must correctly set one of the micro switches found at the top corner of the Sony drive.

Check the switch nearest to the rear of the drive, make sure S3 is OFF.  This switch disables the eject command if set to ON position. This is why the invalid command operation is being returned to the software.

If you need assistance with this process, contact your hardware vendor.
